For our wine collection from 2011 we were awarded 15 Gold medals and 10 Silver medals. For our work we were presented with an National honor prize.
We are delighted with the top rated assessment. He rated 6 wines between 88 & 90 points and thus confirming our previous success with �wine of 2010�.
�we tasted wonderful clear, juicy Riesling. Not too heavy, with a very good structure and a fine level of fruit, acidic level and mineral content. Very Good!�
Gault Millau 2012
The Gault Millau awarded us again with �two grapes�. He didn�t see our wine of 2010 as outstanding, although it did come across very good with other tasters and competitors. We are never the less delighted with the assessment of all of our Riesling wines, from which the Kirchenstück & Ungeheuer wines were rated the highest.
12. Deutscher Riesling Spätlesewettbewerb / Fulda
Our Pechstein �late harvest� was voted 2nd place in the big Riesling wine tasting in Fulda.
Champion wine �Chambre of Agricultrue�
Our Fortser Ungeheuer Riesling �late harvest� was the winning wine from the Chambre of Agriculture Pfalz in the category �Rich Rieslings�. The winning wines are chosen from the best wines already awarded with the gold medal�.We are over the moon with this extremely high award.
